Alexandra Chandanou

Founding Partner 

Alexandra graduated from the secondary school of Athens College. She holds an LLB (Hons) (2:1) from the University of Lancaster, UK (1997) and an LLM from the University of Southampton, UK (1998). She attended the Bar Vocational Course in the College of Law (London) and passed the Bar Exams (1999). Following her pupillage in Hogarth chambers, the leading chambers focusing on IP law where she had the opportunity to work with Christopher Morcom KC, she qualified to practise law in England & Wales. Upon her return to Greece, she qualified as a Greek lawyer (2003). She is entitled to appear before the Supreme Court.


Alexandra worked for 15 years in the largest law firms in Athens, always and exclusively on Intellectual Property. She has provided her services to major international law firms and commercial companies (Johnson & Johnson, Hermes, Timberland, Red Bull, Ferrero, LEGO, Gucci, the National Technical University of Athens) and works in a variety of issues in all sectors of IP law (trademarks, designs, patents, copyright, domain name).

Ashley Roughton

Of Counsel 

Dr. Ashley Roughton is a barrister of |England & Wales and Northern Ireland of over 25 years experience who specializes in intellectual property and data law. He has a technical background in engineering to doctorate level and is a biochemistry graduate. He is the principal author of the leading texts on patent law and trade mark law. He has a contentious and non-contentious practice.
